As we grow in our skill set and build our business, we learn that we have to deal with {NO}. After all, the answer can not always be yes. All to often, we take these {NO’s} as a personal rejection rather than what they really are… a polite decline. Most often, they decline because they really do not really understand what we are offering. What they really need from us is more information.
When we accept a request for more information as a {NO}, we miss out on the opportunity to make a difference. Because we make it about us, we miss out on the chance to take the conversation to a new level. We fail to help her (or him) see things in a different light.
Stay tuned for strategies on overcoming specific objections. Please list your most common {NO’s} in the comments. We are happy to address them!
