Perhaps the most common objection we receive is “I don’t have enough time”. Consultants most often handle this objection in one of 2 ways.
OPTION A
Accept is as an answer and quit asking.
OPTION B
Try to convince them that they do have enough time. This can make us feel pushy and combative.
OPTION C
Fortunately there is a third option! Simply ask “How much time do you think it takes?”.
Her answer will let you know what her understanding of the business is and help you understand if time is a legitimate issue. In the 9-5 working world, it takes 40 hours a week to make 1500 a month or more. Very often when you talk to a prospect about making $1000 a month or more, they equate that in their minds to 30 plus hours a week.
The great thing about a direct sales business is that it can be very successful using only a few hours a week. You may have to illustrate for her how the business works. Most people will make time in their schedules for something truly important… something that will change their life and their finances. Be sure to show her how your opportunity can do just that!
