Summer Sales Tips Pack For Success

No doubt Summer is busy with kids, trips, pool time and more.  This is actually great news as there are PEOPLE at most of those locations.  Nothing gives you a better opportunity to market in your path than Summer.  The trick is being prepared and staying focused amid the pool noodles and back packs.

Dress for Success- even at the pool.   Grab a cute cover-up (not your Husband’s oversize tee) and some sassy sandals.  A little Summer chic goes a long way!

Pack for Success– really, all you need is your phone.  Passing out cards and catalogs is a crutch that doesn’t serve you well.  We have a saying in sales,  “When the card is extended, the conversation hath ended”.  That applies to catalogs, brochures, cute postcards etc.  Instead of giving them your information, capture their data.  This gives you more control over the outcome.   You can easily flip through your company site with your new friend on your phone. Offer to send them a catalog and a digital link. Now you have the data you need for follow up!

Be a Product of Your Product- as much as possible.  Summer is less of everything… less makeup… less jewelry… less accessories.  Even in this trimmed down time, try to have your wearable product on you.   It will help bring product to life as you are flipping through your phone!

Happy Selling
