Is Your Business Facebook Proof

What would happen if Facebook disappeared tomorrow? What if your account was disabled?  Could you run your business?  Would it be an inconvenience or would it cripple you?  This isn’t a fantasy senario.  Accounts are disabled daily.   Sometimes, people are never allowed to re-access their account.  In best cases they loose access for weeks.  Here are some simple things you can do to Facebook proof your business.

  1. Build an email list- simple forms and giveaways can help you do that.  I suggest Constant Contact because it is friendlier to direct sales.  Mail Chimp WILL terminate your account if they discover that you are a direct sales Consultants.  I have seen it happen.
  2.  Build and maintain prospecting records.  Google forms are a great way to build these lists.  A prospecting notebook still works too!
  3. Build and maintain Client records.  Print out every receipt from your virtual office and file it.  An alphabetical, accordion file should be all you need.  Make sure that you capture important data like: email, phone number and mailing address.

Build it big but build it solid,
