Facebook’s Prime Real Estate

Are you utilizing the prime real estate on your Facebook personal profile? That is the {About} section just below your profile picture . Every single person that visits your profile or looks you up can see it. This is THE place for entrepreneurs to list their business yet, so many do not. So often, I see they have either listed their day job or have left it completely blank. Unless your day job pays to advertise for them, switch it FAST!

To make this area work for you there are a few simple steps

Under {settings} on your fan page, select company or business for your page category. This will allow you to link directly to your fan page from your personal profile! {Remember to follow your company policies and procedure regarding social media).

Go to your Personal Profile and click your {About} tab

On your Personal Profile under the {About} section, edit your {Work History}. If you have set your fan page up as advised in step one, you should be able to select it as your employer just by typing your page name!
