One of there greatest things your hostess can do is keep food simple. Elaborate food makes Hosting look hard and can discourage people from booking a home show of their own. The problem is that “simple” is a relative term when it comes to food. You may find it helpful to give your host specific examples. Here is one of my favorites, tortellini skewers. The recipe is super simple:
~Skewers
~Pre-made tortellini of any variety
~Cube mozzarella cheese
~Cherry tomatoes
~Colorful bellpeppers
~Basil leaves
~Olive oil
~Balsamic vinegar
Assemble the skewers and drizzle with the oil and vinegar. These can be made ahead of time and are delicious!
Happy Hosting!
